As your
teenager enters adulthood, it becomes a major tuning point for
you as a parent. You are letting you teen go. It is a time that
is filled with decision making for both you (deciding when to
let your teenager drive alone) and your teen. The cost of driving,
the risks and the pressures are just a few of the things that
parents have to think about.
Why a driving
school? Every year parents spend thousands of dollars on their
teenagers for computer games, summer camps, music lessons and
entertainment. Now consider the cost of an accident compared
to the cost of private driving instruction.
Often the
beginner driver may appear confident and in control but in reality,
your teenager may be "just getting by". As a result, when something
unusual happens or a sudden change in the road condition occurs
your teenager may panic and find him or herself in a situation
with which they cannot cope. Your teenager's basic driving skills
need to be honed in preparation of these unusual situations.

Driving
is an acquired skill and when it has been learned well it can
be both enjoyable and safe. Choosing a good school is not easy.

DOES
THE VEHICLE MEET STATE REQUIREMENTS?
At
AB & KENNEDY DRIVING SCHOOL
every vehicle is dual controlled and has been separately registered
with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
& authorized for Driving Instruction. The permit is visible
at all times on the passenger visor. Look for it. A vehicle
without this blue permit has not been authorized for the
use of driving instruction.
WHO
OWNS AND MAINTAINS THE VEHICLE?
At AB
& KENNEDY DRIVING SCHOOL,
all vehicles are owned by the School, properly maintained mechanically
and undergo routine safety inspections. We do not subcontract
"drivers" to give classes in their own vehicle. It is our assurance
that the vehicles are not only safe, but properly insured.
At AB & KENNEDY DRIVING SCHOOL
each vehicle carries an insurance policy that exceeds State
requirements.
ASK
TO SEE THE INSTRUCTOR'S STATE CERTIFICATION.
At AB & KENNEDY DRIVING SCHOOL
all instructors are Florida State Certified and each carry their
photo State Certification ID at all times. Our Instructors are
required to maintain their certification in accordance with
all rules and regulations set by the Department of Highway Safety
and Motor Vehicles.
